This is the unique original Gouache painting by Gordon Hutchings.

Num Num and his funny family celebrate Xmas with Father Christmas, presents and cake.

These stories appeared in the short-lived children's pre-school title TV Toyland which was published between 1966-67 before being merged with the more well known Playhour.

This is believed to be page 9 of the issue published December 21st 1968 making this one of the oldest Num Num strips we have discovered.

  Gordon Hutchings took over the long-running Gulliver Guinea-Pig strip from Philip Mendoza around 1961 and his crisp charming work appeared in Playhour and later the Teddy Bear Annual.
