Welcome to The Book Palace and The Illustration Art Gallery! We've been selling books and illustration art for over 40 years and pride ourselves on our service and our unique range of illustrated books featuring the works of book illustrators and comic book and newspaper strip artists worldwide.
As Book Palace Books we are the proud publishers of illustrators, the art quarterly featuring the world's finest illustrators and their art. Use the Quick search box (magnifying glass) at the top to find items by title, artist, author, topic, product code, ISBN, etc, or click the navigation links at the top and bottom of every page.

MAKING A PURCHASE
You can place an order online or by email, telephone and post. Our telephone number and email address for all correspondence is shown at the bottom of every page. All books and magazines are new (or as described in their description). Original art has usually been used for publication but is in excellent condition unless otherwise clearly stated. All our items are in stock (unless the item is clearly marked as a 'Pre-order').
Just browse our store and click 'Add to Cart' or 'Buy' to add any items into your shopping cart/basket. Click the 'Basket' icon at the top of screen to see your shopping cart at any time. After you have completed your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for the few details that we need to be able to complete the order. You can also create a 'Wishlist' (at top of each page) of items for future reference by clicking the 'heart' icon against each product.

(our PayPal address is sales@bookpalace.com with payments in UK Pounds only). We also accept online bank transfers via BACS, SWIFT or IBAN - please select 'Proceed to Secure Checkout' (not PayPal). Please note that we do not accept cheques/checks and that ALL payments received must be in UK pounds.
If shopping from outside the UK your payment card or bank will convert the transaction to your own currency. We bill in UK Pounds (£). Please note that our couriers require a contact telephone number for delivery outside the UK and your order risks delay if you omit this.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING
We pride ourselves on our packing and all our parcels are sent fast and securely by courier. Shipping is charged at actual cost and is automatically calculated based on the total weight of your items in kilograms (kg) with 1kg = 2.2lb. We often subsidise the delivery cost and make no profit from shipping.
Please note that we cannot ship to a PO Box address. In order to deliver, our couriers require a real street address and a telephone number for delivery.

CUSTOMS DUTIES AND TAXES You may need to pay customs fees, import duties and taxes charged by your country once the shipment reaches you. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary from country to country and we recommend you contact your local customs office for further information. Customs duties for many countries on books and comics are kept low or zero. Please note that if you are ordering from outside the UK you are wholly responsible for all taxes and import duties imposed by your own country. | |||||||
DELIVERY
Orders received by 2pm on a business day are despatched the same day and will normally arrive the next working day within the UK. International orders are usually received in under 5 business days. Please inform us as soon as possible if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence. You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
BACK ORDERS
In the very unlikely event that your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. We guarantee the price of back ordered items, even if the price changes after your order.
CREDIT CARD SECURITY
We use recognised industry leading Payment Service Providers to take and process your payment details. We do not store any credit card or other payment card details and are fully PCI compliant.
GUARANTEE
Your satisfaction is important to us. If any item we supply does not meet with your approval, please let us know and return it to us in its original condition within 14 days for a refund of your item(s). Please note that the dimensions given for books and art are approximate and that all prices are in UK pounds (£).

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties except for the direct fulfillment of your order. We do not rent, sell, lease or exchange customer details with anyone.

RETURNS POLICY & GUARANTEE
If you have a problem with delivery or the item purchased, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to rectify the situation to your satisfaction. You have the right to cancel within 14 days. Any goods returned should be in the condition they were supplied. Upon receipt of the returned item(s) we will refund you in full.
