Stuart Boyle (?1907 - ?1973)

"I was born, grew up and still live in London, England. My father, Stuart Boyle, was an artist. He illustrated a number of books including Evelyn Waugh's The Loved One." -- Catherine Brighton.

Stuart was a prolific book illustrator, including for The Loved One by Evelyn Waugh published by Chapman and Hall in 1948.

Stuart Boyle also painted a number of detailed illustrations depicting scenes from history and used in the Macmillan series of educational posters in the 1960s.
