The Werewolf of New York is the story of Leon Reed, a werewolf who was stalking New York until he was arrested. Thanks to attorneys Alanna Wolff and Jeff Byrd, Leon catches a break. However, a werewolf advocacy group disagrees with how Wolff and Byrd handled the case and influence Leon to make a decision that has the counsellors putting their reputations on the line as they try to save their client.

Writer/artist Batton Lash started the Wolff & Byrd, Counsellors of the Macabre weekly comic strip in 1979. Starting in May 1994, Wolff and Byrd held court in their own comic book series, Supernatural Law, from Exhibit A Press. Lash's other comics work has included writing Archie Meets the Punisher for Archie and Marvel, the Archie: Freshman Year series for Archie, and the Radioactive Man series and stories for Bongo Comics.

This copy is signed by Batton Lash and features a signed pencil drawing by Lash on the inside cover and a selection of bookmarks.
