In this strip, Zeph, the leader of the Sky People, is about to demonstrate a very literal leap of faith, by jumping down from the heights of the City in the trees.
Romero delights with his depiction of a fearless leader leading by example, and of course with his beautiful depictions of our heroine, Axa.
This is strip #1058 from Romero's epic AXA series. First published in The Sun newspaper on the 30th December 1981. This strip comes near the end of the story called 'The Eager'.
The strip is hand signed in the centre panel and carries publishers markings in the boarder, as well as official rubber stamps on the reverse.
