The Old Christmas Envelope Books by Washington Irving are a collectible series of miniature holiday booklets published by T.N. Foulis in London and Edinburgh around 1908-1911.

They were beautifully illustrated and designed as elegant, affordable substitutes for Christmas cards, featuring tipped-in color plates by the celebrated Golden Age illustrator Henry Matthew Brock.

Foulis designed these small volumes to be mailed directly, as the flexible card covers and special outer wrappers could be easily folded into an envelope.
