Milo Manara's Opera Omnia (7 Issues)
Superb extra large editions of Manara's complete works
"Opera Omnia" is Italian for Complete Works and these huge books (13½"×19", 16-page plus heavy, silver-titled covers) each focus on one aspect of Manara's multi-faceted career.
There's an in-depth illustrated bibliography followed usually by an extended example of his work in the genre.
These XL editions were an attempt by Glamour International to document Milo Manara's career up to this point in a deluxe format.
Featuring:
"Lo Scimmiotto" #1: Lo Scimmiotto is "The Ape" , the character and strip were one of Manara's earliest break-out successes.
"Un Giuoco" #1 & #2: Italian for "Clic" and if you know Manara, you know "Clic".
"Eminence"
"Glamour" #1 & #2: Glamour was the magazine in which so many of his illustrations appeared, and the flagship title of this publisher
"Reclame" #1: Reclame is Advertising , and Brunoro appears to focus on his work in the 1980's. The extended reprint is from 1986, a strip titled Réclame that first appeared in a Sunday supplement called "Estate" in that year. Note also the last scan which is a small doodle on the last page from Moebius.
