This is the Signed unique original Gouache painting by Frank Marsden Lea.
In November 1770 British adventurer James Bruce discovered the source of the Blue Nile high in the Ghish Mountain. Going a little crazy he took off his shoes and socks and ran into the water. Bruce would spend the rest of his life defending his claim.

Frank Marsden Lea, born 1910. A talented artist and illustrator who, inter alia, designed posters for London County Council Tramways 1928-1932 and painted many illustrations for Look and Learn during the 1960s.
He trained at the Nottingham Art School; 1916-1917 and also attended Manchester School of Art.
