This is the unique original Gouache painting by Gordon Hutchings.
The Num Num's are inspired by the television to play football and accidentally break a vase, before attempting to glue it back together.
These stories appeared in the short-lived children's pre-school title TV Toyland which was published between 1966-67 before being merged with the more well known Playhour.
This page is still on it's original art board from when the page was published in the recently merged Playhour-Robin comic Annual in 1978.
Gordon Hutchings Gordon Hutchings took over the long-running Gulliver Guinea-Pig strip from Philip Mendoza around 1961 and his crisp charming work appeared in Playhour and later the Teddy Bear Annual.
