This is the Signed unique original Pen & Ink drawing by Gordon Adam Hogg.

Gordon Adam Hogg (Gog) took over the Pop strip in 1949 when John Millar Watt retired. Gog had been publishing cartoons in the Daily Sketch since 1938.

Very few original Pop cartoons have survived the years and so we are pleased to be able to offer this super example.
  • Artist Biography

    Gordon Adam Hogg aka 'Gog' (1912 - 1971)
    Gordon Hogg's first cartoon was published in the Daily Sketch in 1938. After the war he became chief editorial artist on the Daily Sketch and took over the 'Pop' cartoon strip for ten years when John Millar Watt retired in 1949. Very few of the original POP strips have survived.
