Two very rare British pulp paperback novels.

Galactic Storm (1951, 110pp) This very scarce first edition paperback is the first of John Brunner's many science fiction novels, written when the Author was only 17 years old, under the pseudonym Gill Hunt. 'Galactic Storm' tells the tale of a young genius who uses a supercomputer to discover an alarming trend of global warming that will see half the world's ice-caps melted within fifty years. This leads to an expedition to the South Pole to investigate the problem, and from there to the discovery of a sinister plot of extraterrestrial origin...

Projectile War (1951, 111pp) Author David Arthur Griffiths under pseudonym 'King Lang'. A space opera set in the twenty-seventh century in which Mankind is at war with the Procyonics who plan to take over the Galaxy. Cover art by Ray Theobald.
