This is the unique original Watercolour painting by artist unknown.

This is a very rare original painting by an unknown artist, produced for an unpublished run of cigarette cards featuring R.A.F. badges, most likely by John Player & Sons Cigarettes.

This artwork features the badge of the R.A.F. Bomber Squadron 103.

The motto of RAF Bomber Squadron 103 is "Noli me tangere", which is Latin for "Touch me not" or "Don't touch me". This motto was adopted in 1937, along with the squadron's crest featuring a black swan.

RAF No. 103 Squadron was a Royal Air Force bomber squadron active from World War I through the Cold War, with its most notable period during World War II when it flew Vickers Wellington, Handley Page Halifax, and Avro Lancaster bombers against Germany. The squadron participated in significant operations, including the Peenemünde raid in 1943 and continued to serve until its final disbandment in Singapore in 1975 after a period flying helicopters.
