This artwork features the badge of the R.A.F. Bomber Squadron 10.
The motto of No. 10 Squadron RAF is "Rem acu tangere" (Latin for "To hit the mark"). The squadron, which has served in roles such as bombing, transport, and air-to-air refuelling, adopted this motto, which also inspires the winged arrow design of its squadron badge.
RAF 10 Squadron is a unit of the Royal Air Force, established in 1915, that has served in roles including observation, bombing, transport, and aerial refuelling. The squadron notably flew the first RAF aircraft over Berlin in World War II and now operates the Airbus Voyager tanker/transport aircraft from RAF Brize Norton.
