This is the unique original Pen & Ink Wash by 20th Century unidentified artist.

This 'possibly true' story tells of the Russian World War I pilot Captain Nesteroff who found himself in a "duel" with a German pilot who was already dead. Not quite Enemy Ace.

This is a complete one page comic strip that first appeared in Wham #36 and was later reprinted in Action Annual 1979 which is when the word balloons were changed to typeface.
