MADRALI, Yusuf STORY 37 “THE JUNK MEN”: STRIP 4183 Chief of the Turkish Narcotics Inspectorate attempting to trap The Junk Men when they find the drugs shipment lost when the plane carrying it crashed south of the village of Kuborli. Old friend of Modesty and Willie. He asks them not to interfere and they are leaving when they find the itinerant peddler Ali tortured and dying. The message they send him about this is intercepted and they end up just telling him The Junk Men are dead and the drugs burned. MAGNUS, Captain STORY 8: “THE VIKINGS”: STRIP 874 Captain of the “Draken” and leader of The Vikings, a criminal gang which raids and robs along the coast of Europe. When Modesty tells him to throw Olaf Nilsen out of his gang he sees this as a challenge. Kidnaps Olaf’s wife and when Modesty and Willie come to rescue her he gets his wish to fight them. They grant his dying wish. MAGPIE STORY 72: “THE GIRL IN THE IRON MASK”: STRIP 7665 Code name of the three man team of terrorists for hire employed by Humphrey and Reggie Bone to put Modesty down Kippel Hole in an iron mask. All goes well and they make the live T.V. transmissions direct to the Bone brothers as required. But then Modesty gets out of the hole, kills these two and uses the third, Bruno (5), to get the mask off.
