Francisco Díaz Villagrasa (1927 - 3 October 2010; Spain)

Francisco Díaz Villagrasa was a Spanish comic artist who worked for Editorial Bruguera. He began his career as a draftsman in the early 1960s in the Historias collection, then drew cartoons of El Capitán Trueno, Brigada Especial (Special Brigade), Rayo, piloto de pruebas and Pitágoras Slim.

He also worked on such titles as 'El Sheriff King' (1965, together with Victor Mora), 'Historia de los deportes', 'El Halcón de Meisemburg', 'El puente de Silver Gun', 'La diligencia perdida' and 'La cimitarra de Buda'.

For the collection Héroes and Historias Selección he drew several books. With the series The Sheriff King with Guide by Victor Mora came the recognition as a cartoonist, this character was published in Pulgarcito and in Grandes Aventuras Juveniles.

He died in Barcelona, Spain in October 2010, aged 82/83 years.
