These are the unique original Gouache paintings by Geoff Squire.

A lovely complete two page story featuring an early appearance of Norman Gnome. The work is very much in the style of classic Golden Age children's art of the 1930s-1950s period.

This would have originally appeared in Playhour in the mid-late 1950s. The eight panels have been remounted for a later appearance probably in a Playhour or Jack and Jill annual.
