This is an original pen ink and watercolour painting from an adaptation of Black Beauty by the Argentinean artist Carlos Roume painted for Tina comic 1967. The feature was reprinted as a book around 1980.

'Black Beauty: His Grooms and Companions, the Autobiography of a Horse' is an 1877 novel by English author Anna Sewell and is one of the best-selling books of all time. Note some panels have a discolouration at the edge from masking tape.
