This is the Signed unique original Pen & Ink Wash by Enric Badia Romero.

Modesty placates Luki and reassures him as he lies in the hospital bed that she will do all she can to keep him out of prison and find the evil man with four fingers.

Peppered with Romero's unmistakable brush strokes and signed by the artist in the first panel, this strip also features a close up double portrait in the central panel.

This strip is number 7594 of the Modesty Blaise series and was published in 1991. It forms part of the story 'Walk-About', set in Australia.

Enric Badia Romero has drawn more Modesty Blaise strips than any other of the Modesty Blaise artists, and is also responsible for the extremely popular strip AXA.

Modesty Blaise was Peter O'Donnell's most famous literary creation and has appeared in many popular novels and newspaper strips for nearly 40 years.

The strip has been kept in the artists' personal collection for over 30 years and is being made available for the first time.
