This is the unique original Gouache painting by Ken Petts.

Navvies building a railway tunnel have their work inspected by top hatted gents being lowered in a giant bucket intended for earth removals.

A good piece by Ken Petts that shows both the humour of the situation and the hardship endured by the workers.

Issue of Look and Learn yet to be determined, probably late 1970s.
