This is the unique original Gouache painting by Ken Petts.

An annual party held at the St John's Wood Tavern designed to persuade public opinion that the use of boy chimney sweeps was acceptable.

However, in 1875, a few year's after the party's introduction, the use of chimney boys was made illegal.
