These are the Signed unique original Pen & Ink drawings by Mike Noble.

Worzel has been wrongfully imprisoned, framed by his cousin sunshine Seedhoult. He escapes, hides in a pigsty and eventually finds his cousin to clear his name.

This illustration featured in issue 22 of Look-in magazine.

Originally created by author Barbara Euphan Todd, living scarecrow Worzel Gummidge had been adapted to radio in the 1930s and television in the 1950s, but he'd largely fallen out of general public's consciousness until a new TV series based on the stories began airing on 25th February 1979, starring John Pertwee. In April 1979 a comic strip based on the character debuted in Look-In.
