This is the unique original Gouache painting by Harold McCready.

Single panel illustration which would have originally been published as part of the front cover to an issue of Playhour in the mid-late 1950s.

The panel has been remounted for use in the children's annual 300 Tiny Tales. As ever with Dicky and Dolly, seen here ready to help with mowing the green for their friend's game of golf, is stunningly painted by Harold McCready one of the true greats from the Golden Age of Children's Illustration.
