This is the unique original Gouache painting by Angus McBride.

Young Prince Fironz has succeeded in getting the magic flying horse to earth. He lands in a small country palace where a Bengali Princess lives. In the final panel she shows the Prince the wonders of her country while on the way to visit her father in order to ask permission to fly with the Prince back to Persia.

Three wonderful panels that formed the first of two pages (p.2-3) in Once Upon A Time issue 34, published 4th October 1969.
