This is the unique original Pen & Ink Wash by Angus McBride.

Within a year Constantius Chlorus died in Britain. His soldiers at York rushed out on to their parade ground and, as one man, saluted his son with a great shout: 'Ave Imperator!'.

This is the original artwork for the illustration on p 4 of Look and Learn issue no. 627 (19 January 1973).
