This is the Signed unique original Watercolour painting by Angus McBride.

Jim Bentley tavern owner is arrested for the murder of Jim Scodie in the town of Ballarat during the Australian Gold Rush. Miners found conditions so bad, with rampant inflation and poor conditions, that civil unrest broke out leading to a group of miners rebelling and defending the Eureka Stockade.

The battle with troops lasted just 25 minutes. This took place on the 3rd December 1854. Angus McBride vividly captures the outrage on the miners faces as Bentley is arrested.
