A fantastic signed print by Milo Manara, master of provocative comic art, who has turned his hand to the historical subject of the French Revolution of 1789, to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Revolution.
This fantastic image shows the revolutionary forces storming the Bastille, a political prison in the centre of Paris, on 14th July 1789. The 14th July is still to this day a French national holiday due to the importance of this action.
Manara's work is prized by comic art collectors, and on the International comics scene, he is regarded as one of the greatest comic artists alive today.
This print is signed in pencil at the bottom right hand corner.
