This is the unique original Gouache painting by Andrew Howat.

A replica Viking Longboat is burned in Lerwick harbour at the climax of an Up Helly Aa festival in the Shetland Islands.

Published in Treasure 28th March 1970. Note glue residue where there was once a caption lower left of picture underneath the spectators.
