This is the unique original Gouache painting by Ron Embleton.

The top is a portrait of a warrior brandishing a wooden club wearing skins. The bottom image shows a scene from a village, with natives tanning hides and cooking, a hunter enters the settlement carrying a deer over his shoulders accompanied by a child. Maize is being grown in an enclosure. This is an intriguing depiction of life for the natives during the French and Indian War.

These two Paintings by Ron Embleton depicting Native American life were painted for Finding Out magazine.
