This is the original Gouache painting by Ron Embleton.

A painting showing a band of Native American Indians having to move camp through the searing heat due to the fighting during the French Indian wars. The two natives on horseback carry supports and drag material for tepees behind them, whilst the women and warriors follow on foot behind, salvaging what they can from their past lives.

The sun blazes overhead and the figures are all clearly suffering from the intense heat. Below the main image, a Title 'Indian Territory' has been painted by Embleton, with a native inspired boarder and a peace pipe as decoration.
