This is the unique original Gouache painting by Jesus Blasco.

A wonderful depiction of a lion under a witches spell. In the story a girl names Ruth helps a wounded lion, which turns out to be a prince under a spell cast by a wicked witch.

Published as The Enchanted Lion in book form in 1984, the fairy tale was adapted by Barbara Hayes. Believed to have been originally published in Playhour 1957.
