These are the unique original Watercolour paintings by Giorgio Bellavitis.

The incredibly popular Princess Marigold stories appeared in Treasure magazine. During the first episodes, King Florian is searching for a suitable husband for his daughter, Princess Marigold.

When Princess Marigold meets Wizard Weezle, a misunderstanding ensues which degenerates into Wizard Weezle becoming a fierce enemy of the Princess, using dastardly magic in all manner of improbable ways in order to fulfil his cunning schemes.

Beautifully painted by Bellavitis, who was the first of three artists to work on the strip with subsequent artists being Louis Bermejo and Nadir Quinto.

This 12 page story called 'The Magic Whistle' was published in 1966.

These are 10 pages of original artwork (painted on papre, stuck to card) and two pages of re-coloured xeroxes completing the story.

Also included here are several documents including the entire script for the story as well as black and white photocopies of the artwork pages with the script below the pictures.

There is an element of foxing on some of these pages. This has been taken into consideration in this bargain price.
