This is the original Gouache painting by 20th Century unidentified artist.
A rather unusual train station located in the middle of the woods. Rabbits, squirrels and badgers seem to be the main inhabitants. Note that the weasel is on the wrong side of the tracks. Wind in the Willows has a lot to answer for.
The artist has yet to be identified but we know the art was used for the book 30 Tint Tales. There is a one-centimetre strip to the right where the art was extended when it was reprinted in book former.
Originally the art would have appeared in Jack and Jill or Playhour.
