These are the unique original Pen & Ink drawings by Barrie Mitchell.

Worzel continues his hunt for Aunt Sally's orchids and meets a grower. He follows the grower to his greenhouse where two thieves are trying to relieve him off his most prized orchid. They mistake Worzel for the gamekeeper and jump on him.

This illustration featured in issue 30 of Look-in magazine.

Originally created by author Barbara Euphan Todd, living scarecrow Worzel Gummidge had been adapted to radio in the 1930s and television in the 1950s, but he'd largely fallen out of general public's consciousness until a new TV series based on the stories began airing on 25th February 1979, starring John Pertwee. In April 1979 a comic strip based on the character debuted in Look-In.
