3 PR: Did you always draw? BB: I remember drawing in primary school (Conway School, Boston, Lincolnshire). I have a few examples of blue-tits and other bird table visitors. My art teacher, Mrs. Clarke, was quite encouraging. I had a painting in an exhibition in the local guildhall. I would have been 10. PR: Were any other members of your family artistic?
