37 Perhaps the best comic book creator you’ve never heard of, Francisco Coching created over 60 comic series during his lifetime and, with a few exceptions, all were turned into movies as well. That alone puts him head and shoulders above any other comic book creator, and marks him as being more prolific than a comics company such as Marvel, whose hundreds of characters have yet to surpass Coching’s staggering number of series adapted into movies.
