This great hand painted animation Cel of a Smurf laughing was painted for one of the classic Smurf animations.

The Hanna-Barbera cartoon series which aired from 1981 until 1990 was based on the Belgian comic series The Smurfs by Peyo (Pierre Culliford).

The Smurfs are tiny blue creatures that live in mushroom houses in a peaceful forest. They repeatedly try to outwit Gargamel, an evil sorcerer and his mangy cat, Azrael.

This Cel has been elegantly mounted ready for framing in a smart double mount.
