This is the unique original Pen & Ink Wash by John S Smith.

This is the original artwork showing Turbinia, the world's first steam turbine-driven vessel, which was built by Charles Parsons, the man who astonished the world with an engine that revolutionised ship propulsion.

From her thrilling trials in the North Sea, to the 1897 Fleet Review when Turbinia was the fastest vessel on the waves, the extraordinary saga of Charles Parsons and his boat remains without parallel in the annals of the sea.
