Rupert: Nutwood Bundle

A collection of Nutwood Rupert ephemera in excellent condition produced by 'The Followers Of Rupert'.

The fans of Rupert Bear, known as the Followers of Rupert have published numerous books and specials issues which have, until now, only been available to Followers. Most Rupert stories from the Daily Express have later appeared in Rupert annuals but there are a number of stories that have appeared nowhere other than in the newspaper itself.

The Followers draw on this bank of stories to produce for Members publications that contain these stories - a unique opportunity to access these otherwise inaccessible stories. In 1991 the Followers published the first of a series of reprints of Alfred Bestall stories that had not appeared anywhere other than the Daily Express.

They were laid out as they would have been had they appeared in an annual, but in black and white, as in the newspaper. Later Nutwood Specials produced stories in full colour for the first time.
