This is the Signed unique original Gouache painting by Robert Osborne.

This is the original painting used for the cover of the Corgi paperback Texas Rebel by Frank Miller 1956. The image is particularly reminiscent of Roy Rogers. The painting comes with a copy of the original paperback.

A prolific illustrator of paperback books, Robert Osborne was superb at Western scenes and this is one of his finest examples.
