This is the Signed unique original Gouache painting by Frank Marsden Lea.
Study of Anglo-Saxon workmen building a sea-going vessel. Note the cabin on deck is basically just that.
Originally printed in an early issue of Look and Learn yet to be determined. Signed by the artist just above the dragon head of the boat outside the scanned area. This was number three of a series.

Frank Marsden Lea, born 1910. A talented artist and illustrator who, inter alia, designed posters for London County Council Tramways 1928-1932 and painted many illustrations for Look and Learn during the 1960s.
He trained at the Nottingham Art School; 1916-1917 and also attended Manchester School of Art.
