The first ever comic adaptation of Enid Blyton's 'The Naughtiest Girl in the School' was published in Pixie magazine and was an incredibly popular feature.
Illustrated by Tony Higham, Blyton tells the story of Elizabeth, the daughter of a well to do family who is sent to boarding school after she continually wreaks havoc in the family home. Playing awful pranks on the housekeeper Miss Scott, such as filling her bed with earwigs and pouring glue into her shoes. The Boarding school chosen by Elizabeth's parents is 'Whyteleafe', an uncompromising school for boys and girls.
Higham's fabulous illustrations paired with Blyton's popular tale, set the scene for mischief and shenanigans of all kinds. We follow Elizabeth and watch as she struggles to control her emotions in this heartfelt tale of growing up.
