This is the Signed unique original Mixed Media art by David Dimmock.
Climbing down into a cave. Showing Stalactites growing down from the ceiling with sharp points and Stalagmites growing upwards from the floor with rounded tops.
Also shown are the essential tools of Spelunkers: a flexible rope ladder and powerful torches. The mixed media is crayon and pen and ink wash. This produces a great texture to go along with Dimmock's fine sense of perspective and composition.
This is the ORIGINAL painting for Look and Learn 330 (11 May 1968).
