Valsecchi & Morosetti Calendar: 'La Fanciulla del West' (1913)

A very rare promotional 20 page calendar featuring scenes from the opera 'La Fanciulla del West' (The Girl of the West). Published by Valsecchi & Morosetti.

Between the end of the 1800s and the first decades of the 1900s, barbers and perfumeries gave their customers pocket-sized advertising calendars. These contained photographic images and drawings by artists in vogue at the time, illustrating the most varied topics, from fashion to opera, views of cities and monuments, mythical scenes etc.

It is in excellent condition, with minimal signs of ageing.
