This is the Signed unique original Pen & Ink Wash by Richard Henry Brock.

The romance oif old age. Richard Henry Brock (fl. 1901-1925) was a landscape painter and illustrator from Cambridge; his brothers Henry Matthew and Charles Edmund were also artists and all three shared the same studio in the city. He concentrated on illustrating boy's annuals.

An excellent original grey wash signed by Brock.

    Richard Henry Brock (1871 - 1943)
    Accomplished British artist and illustrator known for his paintings of rural scenes from British life, including horse-riding, country walks, children at play, farmers at work (herding, ploughing, driving cattle, feeding horses), and country pursuits.

    Brother of the well-known artists Henry Matthew Brock and Charles Edmund Brock, the three brothers shared a studio in their large Cambridge house.
