This is the unique original Watercolour painting by 20th Century unidentified artist.

An unidentified early car race, with a cannon used instead of a starting flag. The comicality of the scene suggests a humorous subject is being illustrated.

Probably influenced by the Tony Curtis / Jack Lemmon / Natalie Wood comedy The Great Race, 1965. A nice original for vintage car fans.

Original publication yet to be determined, probably a Fleetway annual. Note small glue residue around title and to right. Priced accordingly.
