A collection of four assorted Classics Illustrated publications in Very Good to Fine condition featuring:

'Double Duo' an uncommon spin-off from the Classics Illustrated franchise, a series of 12 digest-sized volumes published by Williams in the UK from the mid-1970s which re-present in black and white two issues of a Classics Illustrated European series translated into English. Featuring 'Escape Of The Inca' and 'The Attack On The Mill'.

'The World Around Us: Undersea Adventures'. The World Around Us was a specialised publication which dedicated each comic book to a particular reference subject – be it nature, history or science.

'Merry Christmas' (Promotional Magazine). Classics Illustrated promotional giveaway comic book. It was intended as a giveaway comic but some one attached a 25 cent price sticker to the cover and sold this as a retail item.

'Classics Illustrated #77: Iliad' (British Edition). Homer's epic poem of the Trojan War, and the intense conflict between King Agamemnon and his warrior, Achilles. Classics Illustrated tells this great tale in colourful comic strip form, offering an excellent introduction for younger readers. This edition also includes theme discussions and study questions, which can be used both in the classroom and at home to further engage the reader in the story.

Classics Illustrated is an American comic book/magazine series featuring adaptations of literary classics. Created by Albert Kanter, the series began publication in 1941 and finished its first run in 1969, producing 169 issues. Following the series' demise, various companies reprinted its titles. Since then, the Classics Illustrated brand has been used to create new comic book adaptations.
