46 Eugenio Sicomoro Bruno Brunetti was born in Rome in 1952, but is known in the comic book field as Eugenio Sicomoro. This multi-talented artist started doing comics during the 1970s, although in the beginning his graphic style resembled that of Italian colleague Paolo Eleuteri Serpieri. However, Sicomoro soon found his own personal and elegant style. Practically unknown in America and Britain, he is nonetheless one of the most respected talents in Italy and France. He’s an artist who belongs to that restricted group of the “good” artists, Sicomoro, pretty much as Russ Heath ABOVE: Untitled, commissioned Western piece, pencil on paper, 2015.
