35 Yvonne Gilbert This exceptional British artist’s colour-pencil pictures are some of the most stun ing and demanding as well. Extremely detailed and time-consuming, her illustrations have appeared in children’s books, record sleeves and three sets of stamps for the Royal Mail, among many others.
