Having done many covers for the Saturday Evening Post (around 90), John Ford Clymer (1907-1989) moved west to Wyoming in the mid-sixties, beginning a career as a Western artist painting what he loved best: the Northwest. Following what the movies were doing with CinemaScope lenses, Clymer produced many “widescreen” images such as this.
